DISARM! Dismantling the War Economy

WILPF is committed to dismantling the current war economy, which is based on the national and international manufacture and sale of nuclear weapons and conventional arms. Through education and public awareness, WILPF works to expose the domination of weapons manufacturers over Washington legislators, the misuse of the federal budget, and the vested interests of U.S. foreign policy.

UFORJE Uniting for Racial Justice: Truth, Reparations, Restoration & Reconciliation

WILPF challenges racial injustice by creating opportunities for open dialogue between diverse communities in order to break down racial polarization. By taking an active role in the community, we affect legislative change in our national and international policies, and advocate justice through reparations, restoration and reconciliation.

Challenge Corporate Power: Assert the People's Rights

Rapidly growing multinational corporations are undermining democracy, social justice, labor rights and the environment. WILPF is reclaiming democracy by exploring what it means, examining our own behaviors and experimenting with truly democratic interactions. While educating ourselves about illegitimate corporate power in global market economics and governance, WILPF members work to restore corporations to their proper role, that of financial arrangements among citizens for the good of society.

The globalization project group is reading and discussing the WILPF syllabus on globalization which can be found on the WILPF website www.wilpf.org.
Print it out.
