On February 4, 2002 Women's International League for Peace and Freedom and The Simmons College Feminist Union sponsored an Eyewitness Account of the situation of Women in Afghanistan Today presented by Dr. Lynn Amowitz. Dr. Amowitz just returned from her sixth trip to Afghanistan investigating women's health there.

Discussions after the meeting

On September 7 and 8, 2001 Boston Wilpf members met for the Annual Fall retreat at the Espousal Center in Waltham. Elise Boulding presented her famous Envisioning the Future Workshop.
