ABOUT THE FRIENDS OF THE GOETHE-INSTITUT BOSTON

The Friends of the Goethe-Institut Boston corporation has been formed for the purpose of keeping the Goethe-Institut Boston open and able to promote and develop awareness and appreciation of the German language, literature and culture within the greater Boston metropolitan area, particularly through the library and other programs.
The Friends of the Goethe-Institut Boston are appealing to you to keep the Goethe-Institut in Boston alive. Cost cutting demands in Germany have slashed available funds for the Goethe-Institut. Its work will be compromised unless we can get your support. The Goethe-Institut is an essential part of Boston's wonderful diversity and broad range of cultural opportunities.
We need it.
